Biography

Regional Vice President Bill Miller heads our Atlanta, GA, office, serving the Southeastern Region of the U.S., including Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and the Carolinas. Bill’s decades of experience in the region paired with his drive to find innovative approaches throughout the appeal process have made him one of the foremost property tax consultants in the South and Southeast.

Originally from South Carolina, where his grandfather ran an appraisal firm for many years, Bill earned his degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in finance, from South Carolina University. After college, he worked for several years in the Lexington County Assessor’s Office before moving to Atlanta to pursue commercial property tax consulting. Since then, he has represented income-producing properties of every kind, from hotels and multifamily housing to shopping malls and office buildings.

Bill joined the Alliance Tax Advisors team in 2006, putting his considerable talent and experience to work opening and growing the Atlanta Office. His knowledge of local markets in the region and his tenacity in achieving the most advantageous valuation for the properties he represents have earned him the respect and appreciation of clients and colleagues alike. After nearly 40 years in the business, Bill appreciates the variety of factors that come together to make every property unique and thrives on using those factors to develop creative and aggressive appeal positions, achieving the best results for his clients.

Bill enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music and occasionally hitting the links when he has the chance.
