Tony Comparin

Biography

Tony Comparin is the founder and Managing Partner of Alliance Tax Advisors. Since establishing the company with 2 colleagues in 2001, he has dedicated his time and energy to hand-picking a now 14-person team of exceptional tax professionals and to building client relationships.

Tony has been involved with commercial real estate for nearly 40 years. Starting out in property ownership and management in the 80s, he moved to commercial property tax in the early 90s. It was here that he found his calling helping colleagues and former competitors lower tax bills and strengthen their bottom lines.

Outside the office, Tony spends much of his time representing the interests of property owners as a member of the Governmental Relationship Committee of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals and as an advocate for taxpayer rights to the state legislature.

Tony earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Registered Senior Property Tax Consultant, Licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, and Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Long experience in commercial real estate and intimate involvement in its many diverse facets have given Tony a unique understanding of the intricacies of commercial property tax as well as access to some of the best talent in the industry. It is his personal integrity, drive to create value, and commitment to people that have propelled him to the forefront of his profession.

Tony’s interests and hobbies include golfing, hunting, and other outdoor activities. He and his wife enjoy traveling with their family and friends to the wine country and abroad.
