Jon Redmond

Biography

Jon Redmond joined Alliance Tax Advisors in 2019 with a strong knowledge of commercial real estate and the valuation process.

Jon received his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Business from Mississippi State University in 2010. He then began work for the Dallas County Appraisal District (DCAD) where he became thoroughly familiar with the processes and procedures at the heart of commercial property tax assessment. Jon also gained invaluable insight into the most effective and advantageous approaches to valuation appeal and negotiation.

Jon was a brokerage associate for Weitzman (Texas Based Retail brokerage) where he represented national and regional retailers and investors. With the insight of Appraisal Districts coupled with representing owners, Jon recognized a competitive advantage to advocate for property owners and managers throughout the valuation and appeal process.

Jon is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI) and holds a real estate salesperson license in the state of Texas.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys doing CrossFit, playing basketball and spending time with family. Jon participates in Project Reap (Real Estate Associate Program) as a market leader for the Dallas Market.
